About MP Tennis & Sports

MP Tennis & Sports started in 1998 as MP Tennis, when owner, Mike Pratt, filled the need for a full-service tennis store in North Tampa. He drew on years of coaching and extensive product knowledge to serve his customers. The combination helped players pick the right equipment and play their best tennis.

In 2000, the MP Tennis Ladder began play as a city-wide tennis league. It is open to men and women of all levels and has helped thousands of players play more tennis. Now in it’s 40th season, the ladder continues to grow, and now features co-ed play.

Over the years, MP Tennis added racquetball and pickleball with the same level of service and equipment from the biggest brands in their sport.
